Summer Sunset Hamsa
Inspired by the sunset, as I often am, this rainbow hamsa has little clay flowers as well as floral and leafy glitter, and gold butterflies throughout, and are reminiscent of the colors of the wind.
What is a Hamsa?
It's a symbol meant to depict the open right hand, an image recognized and used as a sign of protection in many time throughout history, and most often found within Jewish culture.
The hamsa hands that I make bring good luck. The eye in the palm of some of the hands is used reflect negative energy, and protect the wearer.
Fingers pointed up = guard and protection
Fingers pointed down = bestow blessings

This Hamsa is 4.5" wide, and 5.5" long, not including the chain. This Hamsa is light enough to be easily hung up with a 3M hook, or a nail, if you prefer.
